Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: March 19, 2026

FTC Compliance Notice

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255), WhatsMyGap provides this disclosure regarding our affiliate relationships.

Affiliate Relationships

WhatsMyGap, operated by Z Enterprises, LLC, may earn commissions when you click on partner links and purchase insurance products or request quotes through our affiliated insurance carriers and platforms. These are clearly marked as "Partner links" throughout the Service.

How This Affects You

  • Your price is not affected. Clicking an affiliate link does not increase your premium or cost. Insurance rates are regulated by the Kentucky Department of Insurance.
  • Our analysis is independent. Our gap analysis engine evaluates your coverage needs based on your property details and publicly available data — not on which carriers pay us commissions.
  • We recommend carriers we don't profit from. When a non-partner carrier is the better fit for your situation, we will recommend them anyway. Our credibility depends on honest recommendations.
  • Affiliate partnerships do not influence rankings or recommendations. Rate comparisons are based on publicly filed rate schedules, and gap analysis is driven by our proprietary rule engine — not commercial relationships.

Why We Use Affiliate Links

WhatsMyGap is a free tool. Affiliate commissions help us cover operating costs, maintain the Service, and keep the analysis free for all Kentucky homeowners. We believe this model aligns our interests with yours: we only earn when we help you find better coverage.

Transparency Commitment

We are committed to full transparency. If you have questions about any recommendation or affiliate relationship, please contact us.
